Abodewell: Seller Dashboard

Abodewell’s seller dashboard is the central component of the company's acquisition channel.
The seller dashboard allows the user to flow smoothly through the home selling process, from signing contracts, to scheduling events such as the home inspection and closing date, to accessing documentation such as inspection reports. The dashboard keeps track of the overall progress until the user's preferred closing date.
The dashboard, at the start of this project, was over two years old and in need of an extensive redesign. Our monthly acquisitions had grown substantially, and along with the growth came the urgent need for a more supportive, fluid, and intuitive experience. Also, the complexity of the technology our engineers had thus far built was not accurately reflected in the dashboard.
Working alongside field ops team members, the head of customer experience and product managers, we created updated specifications that paired with the offer presentation flow
redesign. We pinpointed recurring pain points in past and current transactions, and determined how we could address them to minimize the user's need for customer support. The ultimate goal for the dashboard is that it should support a completely autonomous experience, without the user feeling nervous about conducting the important process of selling your home online.
